well spider-man 4 was cancelled. Raimi and Sony couldn't come to an agreement ( raimi wanted the vulture, sony wanted anybody BUT the vulture, and also wanted Black Cat in the movie for sexual tension. I hate to say it but quite frankly i agree with Sony, Vulture is such a weak villain, he can't support a movie as sole antagonist, and everybody loves black cat. espicially when we have had a set up for the Lizard for almost a decade now , and lizard is a much better villain). All that said, I am still kinda dissapointed, but its probably for the best because the last time Raimi kowtowed to the studio, we got Spider-man 3, and Raimi was the first to admit he hates the character, and actually doesn't like any of the stuff that Stan Lee and Steve Ditko didn't create (IE the 60's stuff) which also hurts Black Cats chances I bet...Frankly its time for another director with a new vision. We all love the old stuff and it was good that it came around, but frankly it sounds like Raimi is making these movies for himself, rather than the fanbase and the fact of the matter is, the majority of us DIDNT grow up on that stuff and wante to see the characters that we love ( Venom, Black Cat etc) and we want somebody who actually has reverence for that eras' material. so perhaps its best that the movie went down, and we will be getting a reboot in 2012, assuming we are still alive by then. also this gives them a chance to make it so that the spidey movies exist in the marvel movie universe as well ( Iron Man series, Thor, Incredible Hulk, Captain America, Avengers)

well...unbeknownst to me, a series of toys I used to get when I was little was SUPRISE Hasbro owned , but what I didn't know is that they were pseudo related to the transformers, Battle Beasts were itty bitty figurines who were plastic and anthropomorphic animals with "rubsigns" on their chests to let you know what their affinty was ( you put em in water to reveal the rubsign's element). I have a fuckton of them upstairs and for WEEKS now I have been trying to remember what they were called. who would have guessed pokin around on the transformers wiki would have given me the answer.

so....just watching the 1986 transformers movie again and was realizing just this...the battle of autobot city, which is the end of "act 1" for the movie ( AKA your toy just got retired so we are gonna freaking off you in the most violent way possible). The autobots are the ones who suffer practically all the casualties during the fight up until the end when Prime finally shows up to clean up the mess. he single handidly takes out or wounds the decepticons.....so first things first, way to go prime. second though is that I think it becomes clear that with out Optimus the autobots would have bitten the proverbial dust a hundred times over, he is, by himself, keeping that shit from hitting the fan lol. it also doesnt say much for the rest of them, that 'cons are pretty much owning the whole battle, they might as well have been closing there eyes and firing wildly because they probably still would have been winning.

for the first time in my blizzard fandom, im crying foul.
I was completely cool with the Draenei retcon, i accepted the Forsaken joining the Horde, and i dont make blood elf "gay" jokes. ok? want to get that out of the way....
But making that ruthless, racist, hostile monster Garrosh Hellscream the new Warchief, letting Thrall WILLINGLY give it to him, just so Garrosh can start a new war against the alliance and let everything Thrall has worked towards fall apart....I LIKE THE HORDE BEING GOOD GUYS!! I dont want them to backpedal back to how it use to be,I dont want the horde to be villanous again...and quite frankly it really does have me down...im literally furious right now and rather depressed and upset. This is a fictional world I am emotionally invested in and this is too radical of a change for me to like...
Garrosh is kicking 99% of non-orcs out of Orgimmar....what becomes of my trolls?

man....i dont see myself getting TMNT smash up anymore...the roster is small and there are no old school nods to us older fans....Three fucking Rabbid characters? really Ubisoft? No leatherhead? no Bebop? No ROcksteady? No Krang? No Tokka and Rahzar? but three fucking Rabbids.....

it may play really well, but there are just not enough characters on the roster and too few i really want to play as.
